Depending on case size: 1-series 470*370*180mm holds 30-50 typical hand tools. 6-series 560*430*230mm holds 50-80 tools. 7-series 650*500*280mm holds 80-120 tools. 8-series 800*550*350mm holds 120-200 tools. Trolley 1100*600*400mm holds 200-400 tools. Pick-and-pluck foam allows variable configuration as tools change. Custom CNC foam is recommended for fixed tool sets above 50 pieces.

Do you offer foam with tool outlines laser-etched for visual identification?

Yes, optional laser-etched foam is available. Each tool cutout is laser-marked with the tool name, part number, or QR code. Laser etching depth 0.2-0.5mm into foam surface (not through). Black foam + white text or white foam + black text. Common for aerospace, medical device, and automotive service kits where tool accountability is critical. Lead time +2 days vs standard CNC foam.

Can Kexin cases be wall-mounted in service vehicles?

Yes, 1-series and 6-series have optional wall-mount brackets (4-point M6 insert pattern on rear). Trolley series and 8-series can be floor-mounted with cargo rail or L-track tie-downs. We supply mounting hardware kits separately: 4-point bracket kit (4 brackets + 16 M6 bolts) for wall, or 4-point L-track kit for vehicle floor. Vibration-tested to ISO 16750-3 (road vehicle environmental conditions).

What IP rating do I need for outdoor construction sites?

IP65 minimum for dry/slightly wet construction sites. IP67 for heavy rain, concrete wash-down, or coastal/marine sites. IP54 may be acceptable for indoor warehouse use only. Kexin 1-series is IP65 standard, 6-series IP67, 7-series IP67, 8-series IP67/IP68. We do not recommend IP54 cases for construction use due to dust ingress risk during grinding/cutting operations.

Can you integrate a digital lock or RFID tracking?

Yes. Options: (1) Mechanical combination lock (3-digit or 4-digit) - $8/cost adder. (2) TSA-approved padlock + key backup - $15. (3) Bluetooth smart lock with audit log (Master Lock 4401D or similar) - $95/cost adder, requires custom foam cutout for lock housing. (4) RFID/NFC tag integrated into case wall for tool inventory tracking (impinj Monza or Alien Higgs) - $3-8 per tag. MOQ 500 pieces per lock/tag option.
