When selecting the right material for Lightweight Case, we work with four main materials, each offering different property profiles. PP (polypropylene) is the standard case for logistics and field service: impact-resistant, temperature-stable from -40 to +80 °C, recyclable, and cost-efficient. ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) delivers better surface quality for showroom and retail applications, is easier to print, and retains brilliant brand colours. PC (polycarbonate) is the premium material for technical equipment: virtually unbreakable, can be tinted transparent, with optional UL 94 V-0 flame retardant. Aluminium cases (AL-5052 / AL-6061) deliver maximum robustness for military, aerospace and heavy instrumentation.
